Untitled (origins of the Hive Kin)

"The ancestors of the Hive Kin saw the mighty and ancient spires built centuries old by the giant ants of the basin and saw greatness within them.

They saw the devotion and single mindedness of the queens and their workers and saw the true face of empire and industry.

Their society rapidly changed, growing efficient and cruel like the ants they built their ideals around. Conquered tribes became slaves for the growing war machine.

This is when the ancestors begun their war… Their war against the ants.

Plunging huge numbers of well armed slaves into the great tunnels of the spires, down into the Giant Ants network, in search of the queen. The seemingly numberless swarms of warrior ant clashed with the tide of sharpened slave flesh. It was a battle of sheer devotion and desperation on both sides.

They reached the Queens chamber.

T’la shala, first of the Hive Kin drank deep of the Ant Queens Blood.

The Hive Kin were born, the Giant Ants bow to their new Queen."
